Rhett Shaw
Rhett Shaw is the founder of NFReal. This platform is his vision for an efficient and honest system for the sales and authentication of paintings, sculptures, collectibles, memorabilia, and valuable artistic creations of all kinds using prevailing technology. Rhett wishes to eradicate fakes, counterfeits, money-laundering, fraud, and scams from an industry where artists and creators give their time, blood, sweat, and tears to make unique and cherished masterpieces.
He is a lawyer in the Philippines who has his own law firm, Shaw and Partners, which he operates with 6 other lawyers. They have a wide area of practice but have a good volume of operation in corporate law and business transactions. Specifically, they have had significant experience in mergers and acquisitions. They have multinational clients with businesses in Hong Kong, Malaysia, England, Taiwan, Indonesia, China, United States, and the Philippines.
He has also written laws that have now been enacted during his time working in Congress and understands business both from the government and private perspective.
While Rhett has been engaged in the practice of law for 12 years, he has also been vice-president and has either occupied board seats or key executive positions for various businesses for 8 years. He knows how to run businesses successfully.
In his first year of being a lawyer (2010), Rhett substantially assisted in the acquisition of a food brand by a large food company in Asia for $68.8 Million US dollars. Rhett has gone on to lead several other acquisitions by other large companies. He also practices citizenship, immigration, conflict resolution, inheritance, real estate, legal business consulting, among others.
Rhett has an MBA, in addition to his JD, and has a college engineering degree. He also has certificates from Yale and Wharton. He is a driven individual who has attained success as a lawyer but is passionate about this project. With his knowledge of the law, he seeks to provide a safe and legal space for artists and collectors alike.
